Denver City Council District 5 Neighborhoods

Lowry

A former U.S. Air Force base, Lowry is a fantastic planned community in East Denver. It is home to the Wings Over the Rockies Museum as well as numerous shops and restaurants. Many of the small businesses are converted Air Force buildings, and it's a great place to walk around on a summer day.

Are You a Lowry Neighbor?

Lowry is generally the area East of Quebec, South of 11th, West of Yosemite, and North of Alameda. The borders can be a bit confusing so be sure to check the District 5 map! The Lowry Community Master Association meets

One Of Us

Denver City Council Candidate Amanda Sawyer is raising her family here. Vote for her in May 2019

I'm a proud mom and know what it's like to live on a budget. I understand the challenges that have caused too many Denver families to leave for the suburbs.

Putting Neighbors First

Amanda Sawyer is a candidate without ties to big developers in Denver.

Our city is going to continue to grow, that's a fact -- but we must protect the character of our neighborhoods and ensure our community has a seat at the table when discussing big development projects.

Getting Things Done

Amanda Sawyer, Candidate for Denver City Council May 2019 will be responsive to traffic concerns

I have a track record of fighting to ensure the voices of our local community are heard. I'll continue find collaborative solutions to solve the big problems we face, and focus on getting things done.
